Argenis Pinal showed up on my popular feed on Instagram a few months back, and I wasn't disappointed: he transforms himself and his models into superheroes and Marvel comic characters. While many of your favorite Marvel movies utilize CGI, prosthetics and other forms of special effects, Argenis relies solely on the magic of makeup to transform himself into the heroes we read about.

Pinal is a hairstylist and freelance makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, but his speciality lies within character makeup from his favorite comics. And for good reason - I couldn't believe I was looking at a human, and not a page out of a comic! His work is stunning. Check out how detailed the shading is!

Pinal has converted himself into characters like Superman, Two-Face, SubZero, The Joker, and women like Wonder Woman and Black Widow.
