Kylie Jenner Gets Slammed Over Blackface Accusations

While Kim might be the most popular sister of the Kardashian-Jenner crew, Kylie seems to be the one who incites the most makeup drama. Over the weekend, Kylie posted artistic images to her Instagram account, seemingly from a photo shoot, that are causing followers to take a break from commenting on her controversial pucker. In the pictures, she has pink and purple ombré hair, pearlescent talon-like nails, blue eyes . . . and an altered complexion. The fair-skinned Kylie appears considerably darker, sporting bronze face and body makeup with a greenish, iridescent cast. This makeover has lead to cries of racism on social media.

According to E! Online, Zendaya liked the first image with clapping emojis. Yet, after more and her followers accused her of condoning racism, Zendaya admitted that she hadn't "seen it like that," then apologized.

As for Kylie, she originally posted three images from this shoot, but only two remain up on her Instagram account. After angry comments began pouring in, she altered the caption of the first picture. "This is a black light and neon lights people," Kylie said. "Let's all calm down." Kylie removed an image that she had captioned with "what I wish I looked like all the time." Instagram user mangeky0_ responded angrily to this post saying, "Appropriating another's culture is NOT some beauty trend. Whether it be bronze skin, large lips, or wearing bindis on your forehead, it's a culture, not a costume." Finally, despite the outrage, Kylie posted a third and final picture, captioned with "goodnight."

Read on for more images, then cast your vote on the controversial photo shoot.
