Jared Leto Does the Unthinkable, And Cuts His Hair

Jared Leto is set to star as the Joker in the upcoming supervillain movie Suicide Squad, which is sure to mean a drastic change in the Oscar winner's outward appearance (green hair, perhaps?). Recently, director David Ayer posted a Twitter photo with scissors hovering close to Jared's beloved ponytail. The caption: "Should we?" And followed up with a shot of Jared with short strands. Well, David, we're not happy about this.

Dear Mr. Ayer,

Please don't do this. We understand you have an artistic vision for your film. Technically, the Joker has never had long, flowing locks, but that's why they make wigs! Jared has the best ombré in Hollywood, and with one careless snip you could ruin it all. We know sometimes it can look a little greasy (especially with the beard, which you can gladly shave in our opinion). And sure, Jared does look pretty hot with a short crop, too. However, his hair is his crowning glory! Plus, he is a trendsetter. Have you heard of the manbun? And the manbraid is totally making a comeback thanks to his red carpet plait. So, please put down the scissors. At the very least, let him get a trendy lob - that's a long bob in case you're not up on haircut lingo.
