That childhood dream of getting a puppy for Christmas didn't come true for us at the age of 10, but we're finally getting the chance to cuddle with canines (take that Santa). For 12 weeks young women get a chance to enhance their leadership skills and explore the intricacies of social justice. As a part of the program the middle-school ladies study animal rights issues in addition to socializing with the rescued puppies Unleashed harbors.
