How to Get a Rocky Horror Makeup Costume For Halloween

As many know, Halloween is probably one of my all-time favorite holidays of the year! It's the one chance we get to really be able to step up our dressing game and let our imaginations run wild, crazy, and free. So I love to take this opportunity to go all out and fulfill every costume dream I've ever heard. After last year's DIY post I did on how to re-create the Black Swan look with M·A·C Cosmetics, I got inspired to do a new DIY Halloween look for you guys this year. In perfect timing in lieu of their Rocky Horror Picture Show collection that just came out two weeks ago, I thought what better way to kick off the Halloween season than by doing the Time Warp againnn and re-creating a look from the movie? Obviously always dreaming and wishing to be that standard go-to french maid that every girl is at one point for Halloween, this became the perfect opportunity to fulfill that dream and yet take it to the next level by re-creating Magenta - the ultimate french maid.

But before we get all carried away about makeup and wardrobe, first thing's first - the hair! Heading to my go-to hair spot for all necessary momentous occasions from weddings to Halloween, I went off to DryBar (also to me known as actually the happiest place on earth) to kick off my Magenta transformation.
